The Voice-Acoustic LA-Stick is a design line-array stick with the highest demands on sound quality, aesthetics and functionality. The beautifully rounded loudspeaker cabinet and the curved front grille with fine mini-honeycomb perforation look elegant and also integrate into visually sophisticated architecture.
The wideband transducers have a very thin basket frame, which minimises the packing and distance between them. This allows an excellent coupling of the transducers and achieves a line array effect with vertical narrow directivity, high coverage and homogeneous sound dispersion over the entire audience. The vertically narrow dispersion minimises disturbing diffuse sound from floor and ceiling reflections and increases the direct sound component for the listener, which means that significantly better listening experiences can be achieved even in acoustically difficult rooms.
The membrane of the lightweight 4" neodymium transducer is made of waterproof high-tech fibres and has a high stiffness and very low moving mass. This provides fine resolution and nuanced, natural music reproduction up to the highest frequencies.
Speech intelligibility and gain before feedback are very high. Even untrained presenters can stand with the microphone very close to the loudspeaker without feedback.
Compared to many other column speakers, the housing of the LA-Stick is made of stable birch multiplex wood, which reduces the resonance of the cabinet. The surface is protected with a scratch- and weather-resistant polyurea coating, which makes the speaker suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Special RAL colours are available as an option.
The enclosure design, with 8° trapezoidal top and bottom, and the innovative hardware allow all LA-Sticks to be coupled together and the vertical directivity between the loudspeakers to be infinitely adjusted. All connection and angle mechanisms are placed on the back of the loudspeaker and cannot be seen from the front. This makes the Voice-Acoustic LA-Stick series one of the most flexible and elegant column-format loudspeakers on the market, suitable for a wide range of applications.
