The VENIA-6sp Set consist of two Paveosub-118sp with 4.000 Watt amplifier module and integrated loudspeaker management system (DSP), two Paveosub-118 and two VENIA-6sp DDA. The system is ‘Plug and Play’. Plug it in, and it is ready for use. All components are matched, adjusted and limited via the integrated speaker management system (DSP).
Experienced technicians and professional audio operator can still alter the functions and have access capabilities to the DSP settings. Access to almost all parameters without PC control can be made using the Display buttons and encoder wheel. The functions can be password protected obviating unauthorized interference. Complex configurations can be comfortably created via the Ethernet, or USB interface on the PC surface, using the VA-Remotecontrol software for PC and Mac. Individual sound ideas and alterations can be saved as presets and recalled at any time.
The VENIA-6sp DDA is a passive selfpowered 2-way column line array loudspeaker, equipped with 4 x 6.5" drivers, 3 x 1" compression drivers and internal 3.2 kW power amplifier module and the DSP loudspeaker management system. DDA stands for a new generation of DSP and input boards that can process a variety of signals: DANTE, Digital AES/EBU, AES67 and analog inputs. The signals can be looped further. The high-frequency drivers are coupled to a line array waveguide and produce a dispersion angle of 100° horizontally and 0°/-20° vertically via a large horn.
The Paveosub-118 is a lightweight heavy-vented bass reflex subwoofer. Equipped with a high-quality 18" neodymium chassis, it is capable of producing a high and undistorted low-frequency level from the most compact dimensions. The low moving mass of only 160 grams mms, together with a powerful drive (B/L factor 25), ensures fast and precise signal reproduction with excellent transient response and is sonically superior to many other 18" designs. The chassis features a large and heavy duty 4" voice coil.
The possibility of splitting, extension, scaling, ease of use and comprehensive, well thought out accessories complete the VENIA-6sp Set and make it a universal PA tool with a very wide range of applications.
