One system. Three dispersion angles. Maximum flexibility. Tailored coverage: 70°, 90° or 110°.

The Convert-412PS from Voice Acoustic is a 3-way, bi-amped, fully horn-loaded, high-performance point-source loudspeaker. Four 12-inch drivers, arranged symmetrically in a V-shape, drive a large, CAE-simulated exponential horn via a compression (slot loading). A coaxial 2-way mid-high-frequency driver with 4-inch and 2.5-inch voice coils feeds into a large, interchangeable 1.4-inch constant-directivity horn. The user can choose between coverage patterns of 70° x 50°, 90° x 50° and 110° x 50°. This allows the Convert-412PS to be adapted to different sound reinforcement geometries – from wide near-field coverage to targeted coverage of deep spaces.

Four 12-inch drivers. One horn. Low-mids redefined. More pressure, more dynamics, more headroom.

The newly developed 12-inch neodymium drivers feature high sensitivity and a patented dual-gap drive system. The dual-gap motor design linearises the inductance and distributes the heat generated across a larger voice coil surface area. This reduces power compression at high output levels and ensures the driver remains precise even with large excursion. The four bass-reflex ports are aligned directly with the magnet systems and provide additional cooling through their own excursion.

The drivers are partially covered by the horn’s profile and radiate into the horn via a contoured cut-out that matches the diaphragm geometry, further increasing efficiency. This combination of four high-sensitivity 12-inch drivers, efficiency gains through compression and high horn loading generates reserves and dynamics that set a new benchmark for powerful low-mids.

With its 4x 12‘ configuration, the Convert-412PS is actually slightly more compact, significantly lighter and considerably louder than classic large-format dual 12’ horn systems of earlier designs.

Coaxial precision – even at highest levels. Midrange and high frequencies from a single point.

With the Convert-412PS, midrange and high frequencies are generated at the same acoustical point. The coaxial driver reproduces both frequency ranges through a single 1.4-inch throat, ensuring they are radiated in phase and without any time delay between them. In comparison to systems with physically separated midrange and high-frequency horns, this results in a consistent, coherent dispersion pattern across the entire crossover range.

The result is an exceptionally cohesive and natural sound image with high transparency and detail resolution. Voices, instruments and sounds are reproduced precisely and clearly; transients remain immediate, and even complex audio material retains its structure at high sound pressure levels. During development, it was particularly important to us to achieve a powerful yet never intrusive sound character: the Convert-412PS sounds confident, balanced and pleasant even at high volumes.

A passive crossover, developed specifically for this driver-horn combination, provides a phase-linear crossover at 3,600 Hz. The separation between the low-frequency and the coaxial mid-high-frequency range is achieved actively at 650 Hz. FIR filters compensate for the time delay, enabling the Convert-412PS to achieve time alignment comparable to active 3-way crossover, despite its passive mid-high-frequency crossover. In addition, the FIR filters linearise the phase response.

The result is a system that is both time- and tone-coherent across the entire frequency range – with the precision of a modern high-performance system, without sacrificing musicality and naturalness for the sake of maximum sound pressure.  The Convert-412PS is not simply a loudspeaker that is just loud. It is the sound that gives a room its energy.

Controlled energy. Exactly where it is needed. The architecture dictates the space. The Convert-412PS adapts.

The constant-directivity mid-high-frequency horn, made from thick-walled, robust GRP, is available in three dispersion patterns: 110° x 50°, 90° x 50° or 70° x 50°. It can be purchased separately and swapped out by the user. Matching full-range and cut-top presets are available for each of the three horns.  The sturdy GRP construction and a braced metal mounting frame prevent unwanted resonance caused by vibrations at high sound pressure levels. The frame also serves as rear support for the large driver, preventing transport damage.

Flying. Clustering. Ground stacking. Maximum freedom in setup.

For flying applications, the patent-pending Easyfly-mechanics is integrated into the top of the enclosure. It allows tool-free suspension and precise alignment in a matter of seconds, whilst being significantly more elegant and compact than a conventional flying bracket. The Easyfly-mechanics clicks into the loudspeaker in seconds and is automatically secured by two spring-loaded locking pins.

An additional rigging frame and an integrated, integrated 3-point steel-in-steel flight hardware within the enclosure allow further Convert-412PS  to be flown with each other. The loudspeaker housing is trapezoidally bevelled by 12.5° at the top and bottom, so that the units connect seamlessly at the front, angle up to 25° toward each other and can be adjusted at the rear in 1° steps. The result is a cohesive, discreet appearance rather than a visibly clustered multi-box array with gaps and acoustic disruption at the front.

A ground-stacking plate enables stable mounting on subwoofers or, with half-cones screwed on, on 4-point trusses. The mechanism also allows for a down-tilt. When two Convert-412 units are stacked on top of one another, the lower top section – ideally fitted with the 110° horn to cover the near field – can be directed towards the area directly in front of the stack. The upper top section, fitted with the more narrowly focused 70° horn, can be used to direct the sound energy towards the rear.

From a  discreet touring look to a unique club statement. Performance that’s a sight to behold.

The protective grille is magnetically attached and additionally secured mechanically, and can be quickly removed. It can also be screwed into place for safety against ball throwing in stadiums and sports venues. With the grille fitted, the Convert-412PS looks like an elegant rental or installation product. Without the grille, it displays the typical look often favoured in EDM and club environments – a design concept that was part of the development from the beginning. The extra-stylish horn mounting frame and the bolted aluminium plates on the base and top can be painted in a custom RAL colour on request and are supplied in red as standard.

The Convert-412PS shares the same width, rubber feet spacing and stacking recesses as the Paveosub-118 and the vertically mounted Paveosub-121. It can be stacked directly onto these subwoofers without the need for an adapter. This results in an extremely stylish and powerful monitoring set for drummers or DJs at large festivals or in clubs.

More performance per truck metre. Designed for performance. Engineered for logistics.

To ensure that the Convert-412PS can be transported in the optional flight case, which measures 60 x 80 cm (half a Euro pallet), the Quick-Lock pins on the front of the flight hardware can be stowed in a kind of parking position, concealed within the handle recesses.

Freedom of planning without compromise. Flexible mounting. Precise alignment. Seamless integration.

A comprehensive range of accessories is available for installations, including a swivelling and tilting wall bracket, a ceiling suspension bracket, a U-bracket, a compact single-fly mechanism, a sturdy rigging frame for stacking multiple units vertically, and a ground stack mechanism.

Built to last for years. Made in Germany. For heavy daily use.

The front grille is coated with an innovative metal alloy, making it seawater-resistant and backed by a ten-year guarantee against rust. This ensures that the Convert-412PS will still look good even after years of use – even when operated near the coast or in demanding rental applications.

As with all Voice-Acoustic loudspeakers, the cabinet is made from sturdy, top-quality birch plywood: CNC-milled, tongue-and-grooved, bolted and glued with waterproof adhesive. The surface is protected by a durable, moisture-resistant black polyurea coating. White loudspeakers and custom colours with a 2K textured finish are available as options. The Convert-412PS, like all Voice-Acoustic loudspeakers, is engineered and manufactured in Dörverden, Germany.
