Stuttgart Spring Festival - Marquee "Zum Wasenwirt"

This year, for the first time, the marquee "Zum Wasenwirt" at the Cannstatter Wasen was equipped with loudspeakers from Voice-Acoustic, which were placed into different areas as part of a zone sound reinforcement system. For the main stage 6x Ikarray-8 (5°) and 2x Ikarray-8 (15°) as well as 4x Paveosub-218 were installed. The monitoring of the bands was done by 4x CNX-16 and 2x Score-5 + 2x Paveosub-112 as sidefill. 4x Modular-10 served as nearfills in front of the stage. The festival tent was divided into 3 delay zones, equipped with 6x Score-8 and 8x Modular-10. The area under the balcony was covered by 8x Alea-5 and the balcony area itself by 2x Score-5, which were complemented by 1x Paveosub-115sp DA for low-frequency support. The entire system was driven by 8x HDSP DA amplifiers and 1x PD-32-6 power distributor, housed in BAGAX stack racks.

The sonority is full, warm and pleasant to the ear. Excellent sound can also touch emotionally and create a deep resonance in the listener that lasts long after the piece of music has ended. Basically, it has never sounded so good as with Voice- Acoustic at the "Zum Wasenwirt"."

For many years, Ing. Borut Gomilsek, owner and CEO of the company Soundtemples GmbH in Rankweil/Austria, has been in charge of the sound system in the marquee "Zum Wasenwirt" at the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart as technical manager.

For more than 80 years, the Cannstatter Wasen has been welcoming visitors to stroll and celebrate every spring. With more than 1.4 million festival goers, the three-week “Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest” is one of Europe's largest and most attractive spring festivals. From April 22 to May 14, 2023, up to 4.500 guests celebrated daily in the marquee "Zum Wasenwirt" under the colorful striped tent roof.

In the fall, from September 22 to October 8, 2023, dirndls, lederhosen, but also the Voice-Acoustic speakers will be unpacked again to continue celebrating at "Zum Wasenwirt" during the Cannstatt Folk Festival!
